Class Description

now

In this workshop, students will first explore Gelli Plate printmaking using acrylic paints on mixed-media paper. This fun and accessible technique allows for creative experimentation with layering colors to produce unique, one-of-a-kind prints. Second, students will get creative with collage.  Combine your new prints with 2-3 items you bring to class: printed poetry, photos, or other keepsakes.

Participant feedback from past workshops:“What was the best part of your workshop experience?”

“Exploring the medium.”

“Experimenting…especially with plants.”.

“Getting to chat with the gal next to me as we experimented using botanical

items.”

“Working with new materials and techniques.”

“Doing the project.”

“The relaxed atmosphere was fun and inclusive.”

“Learning, less paint is more.”
